How to make a hair bow / tutorial : DIY

In this easy tutorial you will learn how to make a cute hair bow clip that you can wear for any type of place because its more casual and decent looking hair clip. With images I will show you step by step instruction to make this cute hair bow.

These are the fabric pieces i used in making this dark blue color cute hair bow. First floral (designed) piece about 20cm length and 5cm of width.

And the 2nd piece is a plain fabric that matches the color of 1st piece.Ia is about 16cm length and 4cm of width. And you will need another strip for the center of the bow. Take that piece from the same fabric you used as designed (floral) fabric.









Simply sew the outline of all the three fabrics.















And then here i folded the floral fabric into half hand sewed the two edges together.
Use that sewed side to the bottom so that it will be covered with the hair pin wich you are going to attach.








Here i folded the plain fabric into half and sewed as same as in previous step. And simply put it on the top of the floral fabric.











Now take a thread and from the center of the bow wrap it around super tightly .












In this step place the hair pin on the bottom of the bow and the other fabric strip on the top of the bow as shown in the picture.










Open up the hair clip and warp the fabric strip over the upper section of the clip. You should be able to open and and close the pin after wrapping the fabric.

Trim the excess of the strip and hand sew the edges together.










That's it. Now you have a simply cute handmade hair bow clip which you can customize to be more attractive. I like it this way cause i think it's a cute and decent type of bow that i can wear any time.  👀  😊
